ADRIANA TRIGIANI (Director, Writer) is beloved by millions of readers around the world for penning 15 bestsellers including the blockbuster epic The Shoemaker’s Wife, the Big Stone Gap series, Lucia, Lucia, Rococo and the Valentine series. She is also the author of the Viola series for young adults and the bestselling memoir Don’t Sing at the Table.
On television, Trigiani was an award-winning writer and producer on “The Cosby Show” and “A Different World.” She served as showrunner and executive producer of “CityKids.” She also wrote and directed the award-winning documentary Queens of the Big Time.
Trigiani lives in Greenwich Village with her husband Tim Stephenson (the Emmy-winning lighting designer for “Late Show with David Letterman”) and their daughter, Lucia.
DONNA GIGLIOTTI (Producer) is one of only eight women to win an Academy Award for Best Picture. For producingShakespeare in Love she won the Oscar, the Golden Globe for Best Picture: Comedy and the BAFTA (Best Picture). In 2009 Gigliotti was again nominated for Best Picture for producing The Reader, directed by Stephen Daldry. The film was also nominated for the Golden Globe for Best Picture: Drama, the BAFTA and the European Film Award (Best Picture).
Gigliotti’s third Best Picture nomination came in 2013, for David O. Russell’s Silver Linings Playbook. The film received seven Oscar nominations and achieved a rare feat in Academy Award history when four actors (Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, Robert De Niro and Jackie Weaver) were nominated in lead or supporting categories; Lawrence ultimately won Best Actress. The film was nominated for five Independent Spirit Awards and won in four categories, including Best Picture, and received four Golden Globe nominations. Gigliotti also won the Australian Academy of Film Award for Best International Picture.
Gigliotti is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the European Film Academy and the Producers Guild of America (PGA). She is a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College.
REYNALDO VILLALOBOS (Cinematographer) is a cinematographer, director and painter who brings to his film work the soul of an artist and the skills of a magician. He is known for his artful lensing on Urban Cowboy, Nine to Five, Risky Business, A Bronx Taleand Not Another Teen Movie. The Emmy-winning series “Breaking Bad” has Villalobos to thank for the tone and mood he set as cinematographer of the first season. He is a two-time Emmy nominee.
JOHN LEVENTHAL (Music) is an extraordinary composer, arranger, singer, songwriter, producer, musician and recording engineer. He’s won two Grammy Awards and received 11 Grammy nominations while producing albums for Michelle Branch, Marc Cohn, Shawn Colvin, Rodney Crowell, Jim Lauderdale, Joan Osborne, Loudon Wainwright III and many others. As a musician he has worked with these artists as well as Jackson Browne, Willie Nelson, Bruce Hornsby, Elvis Costello, Dolly Parton, Emmylou Harris, David Crosby, Levon Helm, Paul Simon and Johnny Cash. Leventhal co-wrote, arranged and co-produced all of the songs on Rosanne Cash’s 2014 release “The River & the Thread.”
In 2004 Leventhal composed the score for the film Winter Solstice. His gifted songwriting has attracted various artists to record more than 100 of his songs.
